I don't think John would want to hurt Jack at this point, he seemed genuinely sorry at the end of Exit Wounds, so John would probably try to avoid Jack, out of fear of Jack's reaction if nothing else.

If he ever found out, Jack would probably go for certain sensitive areas of John's body. And not in a good way.
